We are happy to execute test runs for engines repaired by us but also for engines that haven´t been subjected to repairs. By doing so we make sure that your engine leaves our premises in mint condition.
Our test-facility department comprises three stationary test beds and one highly dynamic test bed. Together they cover the most different examination options, from air-flow and pressure metering to external weather forecast and media supply. Every test bench features a blow-by metre. In addition, an indicating system type "Indymaster AVL" is available for the individual use at the test beds.
The results at the engine-test benches are monitored continuously and in the case of possible impairments, the close cooperation with our construction,CNC manufacturing and the engine-building departments allows us to respond at once.
Here we test the performance parameters of your engine. To do so we survey the performance, the torque, further edge conditions, such as water, oil and exhaust-fume temperatures and - in the engine-development area - the combustion pressure too (indexing).

For a long-term use, a long-run test is essential. We test how your engine copes with long-term stress. Following the long run we disassemble the engine and analyse the wear of its components. The long run can be executed on both our stationary test benches and our dynamic one. |
In a strip down we determine the friction properties of your engine. Based in the determined values we can minimise the friction in the engine what results in massively improved performance.

For a component trial we run particular parts of the engine on our test bed. In these trials they are tested regarding their consistency. Typical parts for a component trial are cylinder heads with valve gear. treiben wir einzelne Teile des Motors auf unserem Prüfstand an. |
For all those who want to be perfectly prepared when hitting the road to a racetrack, we can simulate the challenge represented by the respective cirvuit on our dynamic test bench by simulation the lap by dint of the track profile. This allows us to execute close-to-reality tests in circuit conditions, including gear-change, acceleration and deceleration processes what means that the engine has to cope with different strains, such as gear changes.
